ZEROBASE INTERNATIONAL Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seung-bo) took part in 'K-Beauty NIGHT in Vietnam', held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 3. Hosted by Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), the event drew around 200 attendees, including more than 100 medical professionals — local plastic surgeons and dermatologists as well as doctors from Korea.

ZEROBASE INTERNATIONAL presented products from five of the K-beauty brands it distributes: Jaunkyeol, CH6, KIWIGLOW, W.Lab and onsoob. Medical professionals and local buyers tried the products in one consultation after another, and many local beauty influencers also joined the event to experience the K-beauty products. In Vietnam, recommendations from plastic surgeons and dermatologists drive consumer purchases and clinics commonly sell cosmetics directly, making medical professionals a key distribution channel in their own right. The event was designed around this local structure, combining consultations for medical professionals with touchpoints for local influencers.
On October 4, the company attended the pre-opening ceremony of weedy, a K-beauty experience store in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Located inside The New Playground in the city's central shopping district, the store is where ZEROBASE INTERNATIONAL is preparing to bring in its five brands, and the company joined the on-site event ahead of their entry. The store holds its grand opening on October 30.

ZEROBASE INTERNATIONAL is also carrying out the Vietnamese cosmetic product notification (sanitary registration) process for the five brands. Selling cosmetics officially in Vietnam requires appointing a local responsible person (RP) and completing product notification; once approval is complete, the company plans to roll out in-store sales and online channel sales in turn. Alongside the approval process, it is preparing live commerce with local Vietnamese influencers in connection with the weedy store — linking in-store product trials to local influencer content and online purchases.
"For a single brand, licensing and local marketing make it hard to open overseas channels on its own, and inside large retail channels it is easy to lose distinctiveness among countless brands," said Kang Seung-bo, CEO of ZEROBASE INTERNATIONAL. "We will keep expanding overseas channels by taking a small, select group of proven brands to market together."
ZEROBASE INTERNATIONAL Co., Ltd. is a K-brand distribution and curation company based in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. It operates on four pillars: domestic distribution (special channels such as live commerce, group buying and pop-ups), the Seongsu flagship complex, global export, and brand incubation.
